How Much Has Your Grocery Bill Gone Up?

While inflation has gone down from its high of 9.1% in June of 2022, according to the Consumer Price Index, or CPI, people are still feeling the squeeze financially.

Food is considered a "non-negotiable necessity," meaning we have to pay whatever the price is in order to survive.

This Grocery Item Has Increased By 50%

The one item that has seen the biggest increase during that same time frame are eggs, which have seen a price increase of 50%.

Everything from supply chain issues to the cost of feed and, most importantly, the bird flu played a big role in the increased cost.
