Third Jersey Mike’s Appears Headed To Missoula’s East Side

Missoula's newest Jersey Mike's location on Brooks Street has officially opened its doors, giving sandwich fans a second spot in town to grab one of the chain's popular subs. 

But it looks like the expansion isn't stopping there. 

Future Growth: Another Jersey Mike's on the Horizon

A new Jersey Mike's sign has recently gone up in the Eastgate Shopping Center, suggesting a third Missoula restaurant could be on the way. The sign is located at the former Eastgate Veterinary Clinic building, near Albertsons and Eastgate Ace Hardware. 

What's Next for the Eastgate Location?

While there doesn't appear to be any major construction activity happening at the site yet, the permanent signage is a strong indication that plans are moving forward. At this point, no opening date has been announced. The location is currently listed as "in development" on the Jersey Mike's website and is the only future location in Montana listed there. 

Over the past few years, Missoula's food scene has continued to grow, particularly when it comes to locally owned food trucks. New mobile kitchens seem to pop up every season, giving residents even more options to choose from. 

What's been less common is the arrival of new national fast-food chains or additional locations of existing brands.

That's why another Jersey Mike's location could be welcome news for residents on the east side of town and in East Missoula. The Eastgate location would provide a convenient option for customers who currently travel across town to visit the North Reserve or Brooks Street stores.

Changes in Familiar Fast-Food Establishments

The news comes at a time when several familiar fast-food locations in Missoula are changing. 

The Kentucky Fried Chicken location on Brooks Street remains closed while plans move forward for a new building, and the Taco Bell on Brooks has also been closed during its ongoing construction project.

If the Eastgate Jersey Mike's location moves ahead as expected, it will add another dining option to one of Missoula's busier shopping areas. 

For now, sandwich lovers will need to be patient. The sign may be up, but it appears there's still plenty of work ahead before the doors open, and customers can order their first sub at what could become Missoula's third Jersey Mike's location.
