‘Dip’ Into Adopting 7 Layer at Humane Society of Western Montana
If you've been thinking about adopting a kitten, there's no time like the present, as Kitten Season has begun.
MEET "7 LAYER"
It was another Take Me Home Tuesday at the radio stations with the Humane Society of Western Montana. Katie introduced us to 7 Layer, one of a 7-member litter brought to the shelter. And the staff thought it would be fun to name them all after dips, including Guacamole, Hummus and Salsa. But you have the option to rename them. We are sure they won't mind.
7 Layer and siblings were an accidental litter in the community. They were brought in when they were old enough to get spayed or neutered and ready for adoption. The kittens are about 8 weeks old. 7 Layer is kind of a dilute tortoiseshell with some other assorted markings. She was very quiet and liked to be picked up and cuddled.
Prior to being brought to the shelter, the kittens were able to get comfortable around the family's children and dog. Come meet 7 Layer and see if she would make the perfect addition to your home.

FOSTERS NEEDED
With what is expected to be a very busy kitten season at the Humane Society, Katie wanted to put out the call for Fosters, folks who can take care of kittens at their homes until such time that they are ready to be housed at the shelter. If that is something in which you would be interested, just stop by the shelter for more details.
The Humane Society of Western Montana is open Wednesdays through Sundays from 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm at 5930 Highway 93 South in Missoula. See lots of other dogs and cats currently waiting for adoption here.
