According to the folks over at WalletHub, they took a look at the following:
To determine the most affordable cities for home renters, WalletHub compared a sample of 182 U.S. cities — including the 150 most populated U.S. cities, plus at least two of the most populated cities in each state — using the median annual gross rent as a share of the median annual household income.
So, which Montana town made the list as one of the most affordable places to rent in the country? The answer to that is Billings, Montana.
