With President Trump finally bringing some bold changes back to Washington, DC- it's time to dream big. Let's get America back up and running.

This guy isn't afraid to stand up to the Washington establishment and the stupid decisions of the past, so let's start throwing some more ideas his way that could be good for Montana. Here's one: let's make snowmobiling in Yellowstone National Park great again.

I was chatting with some friends the other day about how you used to be able to drive a snowmobile into Yellowstone National Park, just like how you can DRIVE A CAR into Yellowstone National Park during the summer months: on your own, without a guide.

Let's be honest- what is one of the big frustrations for locals like you and me when it comes to visiting Yellowstone in the summer: that place is like a parking lot. So how cool would it be to simply drive to Gardiner, Montana and rent snowmobiles with friends and drive through the park when there are far fewer people in the park? This makes even more sense now given the advancement of the technology when it comes to snowmobiles.

My friends were reminiscing on back in the day how kids in Gardiner would drive snowmobiles or snow coaches back and forth for high school sporting events on the other side of the park.

And yes, for those of you who just want to snowmobile in the park for a trip one day...you can do it...and there are guiding services available to guide you through the park. Click here for the full list on the NPS website.

The National Park Service plans to release part of a study called "Final Supplemental Environmental Impact" February 21, 2003 to demonstrate that the Bush administration's proposal is not the best alternative for the environment, concerning the proposed snowmobile ban in Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks. Environmentalists called for a ban on the snowmobiles due to the noise and smog they produce. (Photo by Bill Schaefer/Getty Images)
