They made us wait TWO YEARS for a new season of Bridgerton, you'd better believe we celebrated with time period-appropriate food. We threw on some long dresses, strung pearls in our hair, whipped up some tea-time snacks, and dove into Netflix.

Only half of the season was dropped into the steaming service and you'd better believe we watched all four episodes. We screamed, sniffled, and sighed. Fairly certain my friend's neighbors hate us, now. Having to wait another few weeks for the last four episodes is excruciating.

If you want to be like us and eat some delicious little sandwiches, try this recipe out!

Directions

  1. Lay several slices of bread out on a flat surface. One package of cream cheese makes approximately six sandwiches.
  2. Stir a pinch of onion powder and a sprinkle of garlic powder into the softened cream cheese.
  3. Spread half of the cream cheese on the bread.
  4. Lay cucumbers in a single layer on top of the cream cheese.
  5. Spread cream cheese onto additional slices of bread and place them atop the cucumber.
  6. Slice into “fingers” and enjoy.

We added some strawberries, scones, macarons, and whipped cream to our array of treats. The whipped cream was the only other homemade item, and there's not much of a recipe for that...just...whip the cream.
